An assignment for a watercolor painting class at Ohlone College. My professor helped us see glass not as a challenge, but by painting observationally exactly what we saw, the objects came out more realistically than by painting what we thought it should look like. After all, painting realistically is really just a collection of abstract shapes arranged appropriately.
